The pressure is now firmly on BLG.
After their loss to WE, BLG have been pushed into the TES/JDG side of the bracket. If they can get past EDG in the next round, they'll face the loser of TES vs JDG.
The margin for error is gone. Any BO5 loss before the Grand Final would end BLG's Split 2 campaign empty-handed — no championship, no MSI , and no EWC .

@Antwanter_ @wellnoname @itsBruxelles And then the 4-man top play against GenG in game 3 the other day was beyond horrible. Like that single play lost them the game. They just look less polished than previously, and they’re struggling more against weaker teams. I still expect them to 2-0 BRO, but not cleanly.

@_maestro_04 @wellnoname @itsBruxelles T1 played one series that week vs DK and didn’t play for days while HLE literally did three series in a row into playing GenG for that third one like what, and Guma laning is fine they target bot sometimes but he lanes well for the most part

That being said, we can just see that recently HLE’s macro has been slightly worse and they are individually in some slumps too. E.g. somehow Guma’s laning has gotten slightly worse, Zeus also has questionable positioning...

@_maestro_04 @wellnoname @itsBruxelles I mean they beat T1 in round 2 and then lost to GenG barely after having to play so many series in a row because of EWC and they are experimenting more with drafting in round two because they we’re basically locked into playoffs, they prepared more for DK then GenG
