I'm making a few elemental weapons. But since I can't rely on shaders or particle effects (they won't translate to all the different game-engines), I had to get creative and model the flame effect for this fire sword. Turned out pretty well I think 😁🔥 #gameassets #blender3d

Godot does not have a projected decal node for its Compatibility Renderer (GLES3/WebGL2), so I made my own. Still limited but the foundation has been built: youtu.be/8_vL1B_J56I @godotengine

Huge annoyance with @godotengine (still); if you import a lot of models and would like all of them to share an external material you have to adjust them one-by-one. There's no multi-selection, no faster way to do this.

@KenneyNL @godotengine So on KayKit's Dungeon pack all models used the same texture, and I had to do what you are doing now for all the tiles to reuse the same material. There were over 100+ tiles. Took 25 mins. But anyways I guess I can just combine all models in blender myself try it.

@elonmusk Mars is great, but Venus might be the real game-changer. At 50km altitude: Earth-like gravity, radiation shielding, endless solar power & easier launch windows. No need to terraform a whole planet—just float. Safer, cheaper, and way sooner. Worth considering? 🚀☁️

@elonmusk Elon, Mars is cool, but have you considered Venus? Cloud cities at 50km altitude: Earth-like pressure, radiation shielding, near-constant solar power & easier launch windows. No need for heavy surface infrastructure. Way safer & cheaper than Mars. Let's make Venus happen! 🚀☁️
