@BalldoBull @BroSydePhil I had a roommate who boxed and he loved Viking presses. I had to google what the attachment was. Makes it 2 arms, instead of 1. Basically a variation of incline bench press. Learning landmine hack squats were a thing was a game changer when all I had was free weights.

@BalldoBull @BroSydePhil I haven’t overhead pressed in a while. You can workout the front delt from bench press moments and I do front raises. So you 2 other motions you might be able to do depending on your injury. Every exercise workouts more than 1 muscle to an extent due to anatomy.

@Anumbersix @BroSydePhil ah i can't do overhead presses due to a shoulder injury so im stuck doing arm flapping movements like lat raises. though it was interesting to find out that overhead presses had a decent amount of side delt activation when it was traditionally thought of as a front delt exercise

@BalldoBull @BroSydePhil Focus on moving your elbow and you’ll feel your delt. Focus on your hand and it’ll be back and traps instead. Use cables instead of free weights until you can tell you’re actually using the side delt. Lots of reps and drop sets and partials.
