@MarkBradbourne @flerlagekr We use a very similar approach. Business data stewards can publish to their project hierarchies in QA and IT is involved only when QA to Production migrations are needed. The project hierarchy is established based on business domains and user roles are established accordingly.

Question for the Tableau community: How do you handle production deployments? Do Tableau publishers have to go through a formal process or do they have the ability to publish directly to production? If a process is required, how stringent is it?

@AnupSrikumar Yeah and real-life suppression examples from online resources are hard to come by as well. We've come up with a solution. Not elegant, but it works.

*Data Viz/Tableau people:* Does anyone have good advice for dealing with tricky cell suppression across counties (Example: data compliance with n<11). The examples on Knowledge Base are not extremely helpful for real-world #healthcaredata examples.

@Poulincogsci Suppression is always a challenge. Especially dealing with counts and crude rates. I work with government public health data and tio frequently have to suppress. I tend to zero-pad records to show counties with no records/data as ZERO and use * to display the suppressed records

PT 2: This data was called out in previous reports via county level and that's all we were given for geographic fields in the underlying dataset. If we include suppression now "as is" it grays out most counties across several metrics making it almost unusable.
