I stopped buying skin bundles and new releases a few years ago in VALORANT, however i’d still buy the battlepass every single act until about a year ago when i realised that they i’ve been paying $15 aud for radianite (that i don’t need), gun buddies (i don’t use buddies), reskins of weapons that i already have S tier skins on and graffiti / banners… When you compare VALORANT’s battlepass system to any other game with a battlepass you highkey realise we’ve been paying a premium for some straight bum ahh cosmetics. I wouldn’t even mind if they changed the model to giving players valorant points within the battlepass and having an ultimate battlepass that can only be purchased with real money, the ultimate battlepass containing some actual good skins with effects etc.. like, some reskins already look really fkn sick it’s just a shame they don’t have any unique sounds or a unique kill banners. I mean, they could even put radianite strictly in the real money battlepass and have ~1000vp in the normal battlepass tier. They’d make way more money and paying $25 for a good battlepass is better than getting robbed $15 to get 160 radianite.
