When you’re wondering why @Target is getting so expensive, here is Exhibit A: Another ‘scholar’ films himself pretending to scan items at the self-checkout, stealing from Target. These people are why we can’t have a high-trust society🙄

This autonomous Dollar General looks like a cute little log cabin in the mountains… and there’s no one working inside. It’s in Banner Elk, North Carolina, and appears to be one of the first (and only) fully cashierless Dollar Generals. You scan your credit card to get in, grab what you need, and just walk out. The cameras track everything and charge your card automatically. Want a receipt? Enter your phone number. The convenience is pretty nice, especially since it’s open 24/7. At the same time, it does feel a little Big Brother with all the cameras watching every move. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Would you shop at a store like this, or does the no-staff + constant monitoring feel off to you?

Dad goes to Kohl’s to buy school clothes for his 8 and 10-year-old daughters. Every single pair of shorts and jeans is “booty cut.” He says it looks like prostitute wear / hip hop hose clothes. Manager just shrugs and says that’s all they stock. Bigger sizes don’t help. This man is rightfully pissed. They’re sexualizing little girls on purpose and acting like it’s normal. This is not a glitch. This is the product.

@wildfreakouts When I worked in a restaurant in the 90s, if the doors were unlocked, we served customers. The kitchen didn’t close until the doors were locked and drive through shut off. Both happened at the posted closing time.
