This headline is hilarious, but the reality is a little different. Microsoft isn't saying "humans are cheaper", they're saying their own AI is cheaper for them. They recently cut internal employee access to Anthropic's Claude Code because the token billing got too expensive, forcing engineers to switch back to their in-house GitHub Copilot. Turns out, even $3 trillion+ Microsoft has an AI budget cap for engineers!

The moment I woke up I saw a PR raised from my branch including 1400 lines of code changes and 40+ files change. Claude code made my nightmare come true.💀. Later I checked X and found that claude is down

At this point, @claudeai new launches are not upto the mark. They launch something and quickly move on to the next. They don’t care about fixing the bugs, nor do they work on it post-launch. Standard template: > Launch something with a fancy video > Pay people to write “abc is dead” > Move on to the next A decade later, @Google is going to win this AI race when it comes to end users by some margin. For enterprise and all, you may see others around.
