@nakedjockman @TheBaDonkeyKong biggest question that you have to ask yourself is:
Is AMC going bankrupt?
If no, then the price $4 is still too low, this year #AMC can use cash to reduce debts largely

@PeterRHann1 @Pontos1923 Strongly agree with you: Is AMC going bankrupt?
If no, then the price is too low.

Here's the hard truth.
I could spend hours analyzing AMC's revenues, debt maturities, debt covenants etc. I'd do it in an objective fashion.
The problem I have, is that I could do that for any company and it comes down to the same problem.
This entire market is divorced from reality. Fundamentals don't matter, because the entire data set the market is based on is flawed.
I don't believe the the jobs data and inflation data the BLS reduces are accurate. I don't believe the Federal Reserve should be relying on them. On the other hand, even if the Fed did have the correct data, the institution is too biased towards the banking system and its issues to do optimal monetary policy actions for the entire economy. Ergo, I don't think the Treasury yield curve is pricing future actions correctly. Ergo, I don't think the bond market as a whole reflect s the future very well. Ergo, the discount rates used to get net present value from future cash flows are flawed.
Ergo, the value of doing fundamental analysis on AMC's balance sheet is dubious.
So I don't.
My yardstick, the amount of Troll posts, and the type of trolls I get, when I post a simple graph of AMC having an up day.
Or, check out my Netflix post from yesterday where I had March 2026 accounts with no followers, or March 2010 accounts with 26 followers attack my post.
That is yardstick, gauging where sentiment is. Sure, the option chain and max pain have value, the RSI's and short term indicators have some forecasting value week to week.
But the biggest question that you have to ask yourself is:
Is AMC going bankrupt?
If no, then the price is too low.
The second question is, will AMC get bought out while the price is still too low? That is my legitimate concern. As i pays down its debt with higher box office, if the price is still suppressed someone will come looking.

AMC B Riley analyst price target increase $2.00. Cracks me up how analysts are always late to the party. Congrats to everyone who patiently waited to accumulate under $1.00 while being able to see the forward box office vision. $AMC #AMC

Disgusting, vile, gory, gross, disturbing. ✅ Just got out of Lee Cronin’s The Mummy movie in Dolby at #AMC. If you are a fan of Cronin’s horror style the 5 adjectives above let you know he delivers exactly what you expect. This is not Brendan Fraser’s mummy. This is a disturbing mix of The Exorcist, Evil Dead Rise, and a mummy theme. The movie is about shock value, not jump scares. As a fan of Cronin I will rate it 9/10 for the cringey moments and a 8/10 for the story. The long run time didn’t bother me a bit. Don’t go see this one if you have a weak stomach. Cronin fans, rejoice - the goods have been delivered. $AMC #AList
