Mitchell was a documented gang member with prior convictions for vehicle theft and firearm possession dating back to 2014. The incident occurred when officers instructed Mitchell to exit a suspected stolen vehicle. Bodycam footage showed Mitchell dropping his hands from the steering wheel twice. The facts: Reuben Bain was involved in a very unfortunate car accident where a young lady died. Bain was not speeding, was not on alcohol or drugs. The traffic citation was dismissed. The family of the young lady did not want this story to get out and they wish Ruben Bain well.
