We just pushed a patch to address the following: ✅FIXED -Epyon's Lash has returned to Wild Card and will no longer cause crashing -Gundam badge art will now be appropriately displayed while viewing squad teammates -Announcer will no longer state "Buster Rifle Being Fired" incorrectly in the Firing Range

Please see below for a list of recent fixes and known issues. ✅ FIXED: - Resolved an issue where the Buster Rifle was awarding 9,999 damage when hitting a player with the Bit Stave shield active. We are still evaluating the next steps for impacted stats, trackers and badges. - Consolidated Wildcard into one event - Gundam Frontlines - as was initially intended. ⚠️ INVESTIGATING: - We are temporarily removing Epyon's Lash Wild Card from the Gundam Frontline Wildcard Event as it is contributing to a known crash. We will be working to resolve the bug and reactivate the Wild Card as soon as possible.

Gundam is coming to Wildcard. You've got 90 seconds. Keep up.

We just pushed a patch that includes the following Octane changes: 🛠️ADJUSTED -Removed 'Fortified' from Stim Surge -Reduced the speed boost given by Stim (still an increase from pre-27.0) Dev note: We held back an Octane nerf from 28.0 because wanted to 'wait and see' how Fuse's rework launch would impact Octane's recent spike. Recently, looking at Valkyrie, we saw that Octane's rework naturally brought her back down to earth, with little nerfing of Valkyrie required. Over the first week of the season, Octane is still being picked and winning fights at a rate we consider unhealthy. That is the data we needed to action on nerfing what we consider the 'spikiest' elements of Octane's recent update, while preserving most of the new utility his rework brings.

🔨 BANWAVE A new detection targeting XIM cheating devices was enabled today that resulted in over 2,000 accounts being permanently banned. This follows a detection we enabled in January which targeted Titan cheat devices and resulted in over 1,000 accounts being banned. Use of third party cheating peripherals is not tolerated in Apex. 🔨

Players in Masters will now be able to requeue as normal.

The update to Ranked lobbies hybridizing Dropship and Drop Zones is now live. Here are all the details you need to know: 🛠️ADJUSTED -All matches with 10+ Diamond players OR 1+ Master/Predator player will have Drop Zones -Players may experience a mixture of Dropship and Drop Zone matches, particularly for Platinum players or those squadding up with Diamond+ players, as we work out the thresholds -If your pending lobby will have Drop Zones you will see “RANKED - DROP ZONES” displayed on the match loading screen -When loading into a Drop Zones match, the Rank Tier Display will show each player's individual Rank Tier (Dropship matches will keep the current 'Squad' version of the Rank Tier Distribution) -Players in Masters will need to go back to the lobby and matchmake in order to requeue. We are working on a fix that will allow players to requeue as normal and will let you know when it is live This change is now live, and we will be closely monitoring the impact on competitive integrity and matchmaking health.
