Back in 2021–22, while trading on @binance , I saw that our perp account hit #1 in PnL on the global leaderboard. The nickname given by bn was GameBigCandle — it was such a fun name that I decided to rename our fund Big Candle Capital. 3 years later, this account made to the #1 global PnL on their new leaderboard again. I don’t trade futures often — there are only a few good opportunities/year. Unlike April, when everyone was bearish, now you can def sense optimism flooding around (especially in U.S. equities). Sentiment doesn’t flip overnight, and I’ll likely keep looking for chances to go long again ( I’m long only), but I do think the easy mode is already behind us.
