Reputation System

Three current categories. Equal weight. Citizen. Mason. Sentinel. Do these categories reflect how you participate? Is there something missing that should be recognised?

Reputation only matters if it reflects how you actually operate in the network. When you look at your Reputation System profile today, does it represent you accurately? What would you want it to show more clearly?

This system is built for long operational life. Not for growth cycles. Not for launch phases. For networks that intend to last.

Gas sponsorship is not an incentive. It is a requirement for open participation.

Roles in a network are fundamentally different. Builders, operators, governance participants and ecosystem supporters do not produce the same signals. Our system is built around that reality.

Reputation is not a snapshot. It is a long-running record of how someone actually participates in the network. That distinction shapes every design decision.

Not everyone participates in the same way. And they shouldn’t be measured in the same way either. Different roles require different signals.

If privacy is added later, it becomes a constraint. If it is built in early, it becomes a property. Reputation without privacy does not scale.

A reputation system should not depend on accounts, emails or platforms. Identity must be native to the network itself. That is why our identity layer is on-chain.

Most valuable work in a network is invisible by default. Support. Maintenance. Reviews. Coordination. Small actions that keep systems alive. Reputation should reflect that reality.
