@DetectiveWing Never seen doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. But she tries to be strong, for those who can’t be.

[ @AphelionsFlight ] As time goes on, and especially now that he’s taken a step back from heroism, he can’t help but admire how steadfast and reliable she is. He’s never seen her falter or flee. She’s the kind of person that makes it a bit easier to keep going.

@MALlFlC “Oh look, my whole evening just opened up!”

@MALlFlC That is one massive bird. “I think we should be getting to work and ensure that.” Skylar chuckles and eyes up their feast. Oh, she’s gonna be full by the time she finishes that’s for sure. “Let’s?”

@AphelionsFlight - fingers for shadows to linger in doorways, for them to help place the sides and others on the table. "Ah, just in time!"

@MALlFlC Let’s hope there’s really an open window because a black-and-gold winged figure is barreling down towards Valentina’s home, and fast.

@MALlFlC “Totally worth the effort.” It’s almost a shame they have to eat this, but still. “Better take a second to admire it while it’s presentable, then?”

@AphelionsFlight "Wonderful." Valentina mused, gesturing to the two maids at her sides. "These have been helping, but Rebecca is very particular about how things are presented." Miriam nodded in agreement. "But I cannot imagine they will be much longer at all."

@MALlFlC “If the table size is any indication, I’ve been anticipating that.” She might’ve skipped lunch just so she can make room for this. Look, she watches her calorie intake very, very carefully. “Ravenous, just so happens.”

@AphelionsFlight "She always is." Valentina said with a smile. "We will begin once the other two have finished plating up the food. I do hope you’re hungry dear, as from my understanding a lot of food has been made."

@MALlFlC -Feels funny to live part of one. “You do have a pretty impressive home. And Leah here has been an amazing guide.”

@MALlFlC Context clues and all, those two must be Sarah and Mariam. Which leaves just one. But of course, her attention is fully on Valentina. “How could I turn down such a gracious invite?” She’ll take her seat on the opposite end. Yeah, she’s seen this in so many gothic horrors.-

@MALlFlC “Thank you.” She replies with a small bow and turns the knob, opening the door. Fully expecting the inviter herself to be on the other side, naturally.

@AphelionsFlight "Of course!" Leah chimed as she continued down the corridor. Their destination was down another flight of stairs and another left. She gestured to the large dark wood door with a curtsy. "After you, our honored guest."

@MALlFlC “She keeps pets?” She asks with a curious brow, scanning the paintings as she goes. She’s no expert but she can definitely tell Valentina has good taste. “I think we shouldn’t keep her waiting. But I’d love to go on a tour later,” she says, a bright smile on her face.

@AphelionsFlight - explained as she walked, hands behind her back. "Though is there anything else you want to see before dinner?"

@MALlFlC -And what an impressive abode, too. She can’t help but look around as she heads down.

@MALlFlC Okay, so that’s four. That’s actually…an impressive number. “Alright, so…” She walks with Leah, flashing a smile at the twirl. “There’s the four of you plus her?” Well, she IS a presumably old vampire so…yeah. “I mean, you’re making a very good impression so far.”-

@MALlFlC “Actually—that’d be great!” She’s outgoing enough to not get too overwhelmed, but a little help never hurts! Plus they do seem cool so why not? She could definitely need all this for future visits.
