The "nonprofit" San Diego Humane Society is sitting on over $100 million dollars
Total annual revenue: $72.9 million
Salaries and compensation: $45.3 million
The CEO makes $40,000+ per month
It’s gets $10 million from taxpayers every year
So to recap, they take in $73 million, and spend $45 million of it on salaries instead of expanding services like spay, neuter, rescue and adoption helping animals…..
Nonprofits are a scam. It’s money laundering and fraud. Abolish nonprofits

I read the most profound thing I think I've ever read about European support for "Palestine," and I don't think I'll be able to unsee it now.
It's that by imagining Palestine to be real and the victim of Jewish colonialism and genocide, they can imagine Jews as the actual Nazis and thereby assuage themselves of their overwhelming guilt for the 20th century, not to mention a long and ugly history before.
By finding a way to stain the Jews and Israel with those same moral evils they themselves feel the weight of, but for imaginary instead of genuine reasons, Europeans can not only remove but reverse the mark of the evil they inflicted on Jews over their entire history, not remotely least during the Holocaust.
Thus, and only thus, can they forgive themselves for their unforgivable sins, but like everything Leftist, it's empty and inverted.

If cities can build/install anti-homeless devices to deter homeless individuals from certain areas, private citizens ought to have the right to build/install anti-crime devices on their walls, fences, or any property.
City and municipality ordinances ought to end where public space ends and where private property begins

Here’s Santa Monica in 2026. This guy installed razor sharp anti-climb spikes on the wall after the house got robbed. He’s out here recording and pointing at his own work like this is normal now. Nice neighborhoods turning into fortresses because crime is so bad people have to do this just to feel safe. Instead of fixing the actual problem, regular homeowners are forced to turn their places into mini prisons. Real question though: is this even legal? If some tweaker tries to climb it, cuts himself up bad and sues… who wins? The criminal or the guy just trying to protect the property?

Let me regale you with a tale.
Diaclone was a Japanese toy line of cars that transformed into robots. They released it in the US in the early 80's as just "cars that turn into robots." It flopped. No one was interested.
So they went back to the drawing board. They hired Marvel writers to create lore and context for the cars that transform into robots. They're aliens from a machine world embroiled in a vicious civil war that has spilled over to Earth. They created two factions for this story, heroic Autobots and villainous Decepticons. They renamed the franchise, "Transformers."
It's one of the biggest, most successful multimedia franchises in human history.
Why? Because LORE MATTERS. Lore gives us the reason that the toys (or for Warhammer, model kits) are worth collecting. It makes them more than shaped plastic. It turns them into heroes, villains, monsters, and gods with meaning and purpose. And in the process creates stories. Stories that draw people in, get them invested as much as the toys themselves. People write, film, or draw the stories of the characters these toys represent. These stories are then consumed as much as the toys themselves.
Lore matters. Lore is just as important for a franchise's health as the toys it's built around. Discounting the lore shows a general disdain not only for the toys, but the franchise built around both. The toys are the modern form of the idols made of mythological figures.
Saying "lore doesn't matter" is the height of ignorance and you just out yourself as a tourist. No amount of displayed consumption can save you from this accusation now.

These claims are bad & objectively false. If anything these claims are by people who never actually play the game. The lore side of the biz is ~2% of their total revenue. Licensing was like 15% & the rest is mini sales. Minis make 40K successful it’s by far their largest revenue

Amen! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I completely agree with the ruling! Wouldn't you had done the same? A 23-year-old Texas father sent his children to feed the chickens on the family ranch. His son came running back. His sister had been grabbed and carried into a shed. The father ran inside, pulled a 47-year-old ranch hand off his 5-year-old daughter, and beat the man with his bare hands. He called 911 immediately, asking for help, saying he did not know what to do. The man died from his injuries. A grand jury declined to charge the father. Texas law allows deadly force during a sexual assault. To one side, this is exactly how the law should work — a parent protecting a child in the moment. To the other, deadly private justice always carries risk, even when the moral case feels obvious.
