I got shamed for using Stream Cafe royalty free music for my streams. First of all, having custom music is a luxury and not a requirement. Royalty free music is available, and plenty of people use it. So I'm gonna use it and give my flowers to the artists! Second of all, I LOVE Stream Cafe music and listen to it on my off time!! The hour compilations are perfect to listen to while studying or doing work because of how cozy and relaxing it is. Last of all, I think what affected me by their statement was that as a vtuber, I definitely feel a pressure to "keep up" with the latest stuff. Get a model, get a 2.0 model, get a 3D model, get a custom lore video, get more emotes, get more toggles, get custom overlays, get this, get that. More more more more more more! NEWS FLASH, ALL OF THIS COSTS TIME, RESOURCES, AND MONEYYYYYY. So if you wanna judge, then I have a ko-fi page you can help me fund for this “necessity.” 🙄 I will still be using Stream Cafe music because this is my stance against that snide comment that tried to make me feel bad for using resources while on a budget. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna peruse Youtube’s royalty free playlist 💅
