I was hoping for the tank with Ewers strategy. Don't know what to think about this. Like the player but what is the best case scenario here?? Win 6-8 games this season and pick 13 just like every other year ???

@BlizzyFins God it's so good. Always was one of my favorite short stories and they are adapting the source material perfectly. Casting director deserves all the praise in the world for bringing the characters straight out of the book onto the screen

@footballphinfan That being said we are going to be bad in 26 and have a high draft pick in a loaded QB draft in 27. I would just be banging the table in the interview on his QB evaluation and how he plans to pick/evaluate the right QB for Miami future given that is one of the biggest factors

@footballphinfan I'm on board with Stefanski, don't think you're doing much better. I feel it's well reported that Watson deal was done by the owner, but I need answers on who/why Dillion Gabriel was a 3rd round pick. Only part that scares me is lack of QB success with browns and we need one.

@BlizzyFins I will put my hate watching aside for the week and cheer for Caleb and the Bears to absolutely dominate and blowout the Packers if it means we even have a 1% chance to get Lafleur. Doubt they move on, but oh boy I'd move mountains to land him. Harbaugh/ Stefanski yes as well.

Ok here’s my full opinion
•This hurts our chances of Harbaugh and I don’t love that
•We hired the best GM candidate and he’s a young ALPHA who loves scouting. He’ll be around much longer than Harbaugh would be so therefore this was the correct thing to prioritize
•Lafleur is a better candidate than Harbaugh anyway, IF he became available. Because of age imo, he’d actually be here longer than 5 years potentially
•I DONT WANT JEFF HAFLEY. NO MORE FIRST TIME COACHES
•Still try to get Harbaugh or Stefanski, go get Lafleur if he becomes available, or get Mike McCarthy who is a seasoned veteran successful Head Coach
Overall, it’s a great day to be a Dolphins fan

A new GM in Miami: Dolphins are hiring Packers VP of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan as their general manager, sources tell me and @AdamSchefter. Sullivan received high recommendations from people in Green Bay, most notably Matt LaFleur, who works with him daily. Sullivan’s interview was described as exceptional, and the hiring group, including Aikman, was unanimous in the decision.
