Drawing on original data, they are applying and refining the constellation theory (CT) framework to better define and analyze rampage shootings, especially within the context of worsening youth mental health and the pervasive influence of social media.

Dr. Jon Gordon and colleagues Dr. Russell and Dr. Thames, leverage an original dataset to refine a constellation theory of rampage school shootings and advance an analytical approach to rampage attacks, school shootings, and mass shootings.
