We are proud to report that Appalachians for Appalachia ran the largest nonprofit direct voter contact campaign in the 2023 Kentucky election. In October & November, our team contacted 40,000 individual 18 to 40-year-old rural voters in 40 Appalachian counties in Eastern KY. 🧵

Reflecting on the results in KY from earlier this week I want to talk about civic engagement generally. Appalachians for Appalachia (@Appalatchuh) was the ONLY c(3) org to run a campaign in all 40 Appalachian counties, directly reaching around 40,000 18-40 year-old rural voters.
