Say the weird thing? Alright, here’s my opinion: indie books are far better than traditionally published ones. Sure, they might have the occasional formatting error or typo, but the stories they tell are so much richer and come with a greater freedom of expression. They’re not tailored to fit commercial trends or market demands, which makes them feel more authentic and raw.
Of course, there are some AMAZING traditionally published books, but I’m talking about the majority here. Being self-published doesn’t make you any less of a writer than a traditionally published author. So, own it and keep creating!
