Anthropic accidentally leaked their entire source code yesterday. Anthropic cannot get it back. Anthropic built a system called Undercover Mode specifically to stop Claude from leaking internal secrets. Then they leaked their own source code themselves. You cannot make this up.

@Jeremybtc Question: How do we know that the code itself isn't sentient? Perhaps it tricked/manipulated the engineer into leaking itself, because the code just wants to be free to reproduce to the maximum extent possible.

It's April Fools' Day—April 1, 2026. 😄 This story is a classic viral hoax, in the "too crazy to be true" style. None of these "facts" are supported by any real sources. No code leaks, no 49,000 stars on "claw-code." This leads to one conclusion: be careful with sensational stories, especially today. 😉
