After 'Grow a Pound Week', we found out the results of who won awards about this. Some classes won awards for best sales pitch and most creative project. Class 21 won the award for raising most profit. Well done Class 21!

Last week we have had our Grow a Pound Day - All classes had £1 per student to create a class enterprise with the aim to make the greatest profit. There were lots of creative ideas - games, a car wash, playstation competition, pottery painting and a book and pizza sale.

The London visit last week was a huge success for our school! This will be celebrated in the York Press today, so look out for the article featuring or amazing school representatives receiving the NationalSEND school STARs award from York MP and the minister for local transport

We had a great turn out of 24 pupils for this weeks boccia competition.
At the end of the competition three student were tied at the top of the leader board with 8 points.
A tense play off ensued with the eventual winner being Ruben.

We had joint winners this week in our Kurling competition. Ruben and Aymen beat 21 other players showing great accuracy and skill.

Our first competition after the Christmas holidays was boccia. 21 pupils participated and completed 6 different challenges to win points. The overall winner with 13 points was Ruben

Thanks to a generous grant and amazing support from our local Tesco store we have been able to purchase everything you need to cook a Christmas Dinner for 20 members of our school community.

20 pupils participated in our bowling competition this week. It was great to see the pupils supporting and encouraging each other. In a tense finale the joint winners were Keiran and Jamie.

Our biggest turnout of the year! 22 pupils participated in this weeks Kurling competition. It was a great atmosphere with everyone encouraging and supporting the play.
Jamie was the eventual champion by one point.
