In my eyes, it’s simple: work hard, Be Present. Everything we saw at MSI, the way EU was punished in draft & in-game are things you already notice if you review LCK/LPL playoffs. The difference? In EU we don’t get punished as hard, so some habits remain. For me, the key is to keep pushing ourselves more individually and as a region with more systematic, intentional work. Higher standards in how we prepare, practice, and review. Not just more hours, but smarter, and being fully present and engaged in those hours, mentally and emotionally, without distractions (Not saying teams don't already do/are aware of this, just how i see it, especially on the "being present part") That might still be one of the gaps, in my opinion. As an LFL coach now, my dream is to one day compete at LEC, MSI, and Worlds. But to get there and for EU to compete at the highest level(and be great again) we all need to demand more from ourselves. I Include myself in this too. Less talk, more work.

@KC_3IR LCK played the same way on dragons and it worked, it also worked for us. It's very simple and hard to go wrong when you're the better team especially with a good draft. Problem on international is that the moment you do one wrong choice you dont get to wait till next objective

If you watch all MSI games you will have to admit LEC didn't know how the game works and it's good WE got exposed pre worlds LEC games start after 2 full clears and then 5v5 on dragon into 5 mins of nothing GMs make your staff review 90%+ of MSI games and prove it or fire them

And yes we are aware doing well in EU would be meaningless if we don't do well at the international stage and that will be the end goal so we will stay humble but confident. One step at a time until I get to repay KC for this opportunity.

So, we’re making it happen! We’ve added an extra show day at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin during the Summer Playoffs to ensure both decider matches are played as Bo5s. We hope you’re as stoked as we are to cheer for MKOI and G2 at MSI starting tomorrow. Meanwhile, we’re hard at work prepping for the Summer Split and the epic Summer Finals in Madrid on September 26-28. Tickets for the matches in Berlin go on sale July 15, see you there!

I'm so so sorry... We lost a game 2 that we shouldn't ever lose and then we choked way too hard in adapting for draft 3 and 5. Unacceptable mistakes, we ruined everyone's next few months and all we can do is make up for it in summer. Sorry again, GG MKOI
