The announcement our new friends from the crypto world have been waiting on: 📣 Arctic Fox Daily Wildlife Rescue has officially received the funds that have been generated thus far through the Pump Fun x Donate GG collaboration. This feels like such a surreal update to type, because this deposit of $150,000 that just hit our sanctuary’s bank account is going to be incredibly impactful for our mission. Over the past several weeks, an orphaned Red fox I took in, named Apple, captured the attention of people far beyond our usual audience, and somehow that attention grew into support for our rescue from an entirely different corner of the internet than I ever expected. What started with Apple’s story going viral ultimately introduced thousands of new people to Arctic Fox Daily, our mission, and the animals who call this place home. To every person who played a role in that - primarily through the lovely $Apple community, and also through other groups and communities rallying around our rescue, sharing our content, asking questions, donating directly, or simply cheering us on with encouraging words - thank you! I would also like to thank @leap_xyz and the teams at @donatedotgg and @Pumpfun for the work that went into making this collaboration happen. As someone who was learning the bare minimum about this world in real time, I know I probably wasn’t always the easiest beneficiary to work with - I asked a lot of questions, to say the least. So, I appreciate the patience, communication, and effort that went into getting this across the finish line! Because of it, real animals WILL directly benefit. And in addition, I genuinely believe MANY other nonprofits will benefit as well; it’s truthfully a brilliant, niche business idea, and I’m grateful that Arctic Fox Daily has been given the opportunity to be a part of it. I also want to thank the people who chose patience, kindness, and grace throughout this process. This was a brand new collaboration with a lot of moving pieces behind the scenes, and there were plenty of questions that I didn’t always have answers to - nor can I keep up with the influx of messages the way I wish I could, especially during baby wildlife season. The people who continued to be supportive while allowing things to unfold properly have my most sincere appreciation. 🙏🏼 I want to be careful not to make promises about specific outcomes, because wildlife rescue, sadly, doesn’t work that way. Animals don’t always cooperate with our plans, every day with Apple is a gift, and treatment does not come with guarantees. But, what I CAN say is this: Options that may have once been out of reach until a fundraiser goal was met are now on the table. 🍏🧠 If Apple’s veterinary neurology team ultimately determines that she is an appropriate candidate for neurosurgery, the conversation will not have to pause just because funding is not yet available. In a case where time matters as much as it does with these sensitive hydrocephalic patients, that is an incredible gift. Whether surgery ultimately becomes part of her story or not, knowing that financial limits no longer have to dictate that conversation is something we do not take for granted. Beyond Apple, these funds represent opportunity! Opportunity to improve and maintain our facility, to ultimately expand what we are capable of doing, and to help animals that have not even arrived here yet. I am so excited to put that support to work! Though I am certainly not savvy to the world of crypto logistics, I do know that those of you who participated in this did not have to purchase a meme coin that our rescue was selected to benefit from. So, to our new friends in the crypto world who did, thank you for being part of this! Thank you for taking a chance on #Applethefox and, in the process, helping our entire organization! This has been one of the most unexpected partnerships I’ve ever witnessed unfold, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here. 🫶🏼

While we love seeing updates from Kim, we are saddened to see the lack of attention on Apple from all fronts. Having said that, the core $Apple team believes there is a plan in place. This is has been a test of community strength. Charity coins were never meant to die, otherwise it would leave a terrible mark on the reputation of @Pumpfun and @donatedotgg. We have held a 70k floor for awhile now with our holders still believing in this narrative and Apple as a whole. We have had fairly large fresh buys the past day which shows what we are doing is working. Most of all, a lot of us are quite invested in our little red fox’s health. At the very least, it seems as though her condition hasn’t worsened nor improved. The biggest milestone was her MRI providing insight into her condition. We must be patience and listen for good news, and realistically, the more we keep this narrative alive the better chances Apple has at receiving top-notch care. #GoAppleGo ❤️🦊

When you look at Clint Parker (Intake 2026-04) today, lounging with a full coat of fur and bright, lively eyes, it’s hard to believe he’s the same coyote the homeowner stumbled upon in her barn just a couple months ago, isn’t it?! The first photo was taken that day. A severe case of mange had left him nearly hairless, very uncomfortable, and vulnerable to the frigid New York winter temperatures. On top of that, he was missing part of a hind leg from an older injury. Upon intake at Cornell University’s wildlife hospital, he was stabilized, received initial treatment for mange, and underwent other important veterinary care, including surgery to extract a broken, infected canine tooth. Afterwards, he made his way here for the next step of his recovery and rehabilitation. Over the past couple months, he has continued to receive good nutrition, parasite treatment, a warm place to rest, and the time his body needed to heal. Time is a gift that many people wouldn’t have given an animal like Clint Parker, which is why I’m so incredibly proud of every key player in his story thus far - his finder, the wildlife hospital, and you guys for all the encouragement after I first introduced him on social media. It truly takes a village. Slowly, the crusty, scabby layer sloughed off, his fur began to return, his weight improved, and finally, his confidence started to come back. Little by little, the handsome coyote hiding underneath all that suffering began to emerge! The second photo was taken on May 30th, approximately three months post-intake. Considering the condition he arrived in, I have a feeling this is the best he has felt in a very, very long time. ✨ Now, the question I know is on everybody’s mind… So, is he going to be released? Well, I can answer that more confidently than I could a couple months ago, but I still don’t quite want to give a public, final answer. Though, I’m getting close. After getting to know him for several weeks, everything I’ve observed continues to point me toward Clint Parker probably not being an appropriate candidate for release due to the combination of his mild mobility impairment, lack of a canine tooth, and naturally gentle, submissive demeanor. If we were dealing with just one of those things, he’d likely still be a candidate for release. It’s the combination of all of them that’s the cause of my hesitation. However, he CAN perform all of his normal day-to-day functions, and this simply isn’t a decision I take lightly, especially when it comes to an adult animal who has already spent several years living successfully in the wild. It’s not fair that those years of freedom may be stripped away from him - especially because, being brutally honest, humans play a role in the vast majority of situations that ultimately leave an animal non-releasable. Plus, being deemed non-releasable doesn’t automatically make every animal a good candidate for sanctuary placement. If we don’t believe an animal can have a good quality of life in captivity - if they’d be plagued with stress every moment of the day - then captivity isn’t the right answer either. Thankfully, that’s never been my concern with Clint Parker. If anything, I’ve truthfully almost been WAITING for him to show me that he’s too stressed by life here, and… he simply hasn’t. He’s been such a calm, well-mannered gentleman throughout his rehabilitation that I’ve joked to a few people that it’s almost like he’s trying to convince me not to put him back out there. 😅 Ultimately, this decision won’t be based on my emotions or what any of us want. Am I a little attached to him after this incredible glow up, and after watching his eyes slowly soften as he learned that I’m a caretaker he can trust? Absolutely. But that won’t guide this decision - it will be based on what I believe gives Clint Parker the highest quality of life possible. That’s the standard he deserves, and it’s the same standard every complex case that comes through our doors receives.
