Reliability is one of the most meaningful benefits of cloud-based imaging systems. Dr. Richard Friedland (@RJFriedland) notes that radiologists have long dealt with uncertainty around system performance and reliance on onsite IT support. Cloud-native platforms reduce those points of failure—allowing radiologists to focus on interpretation rather than troubleshooting. As cloud maturity and cybersecurity advance, trust in cloud infrastructure continues to grow across health systems. 🎥 watch the full interview here: bit.ly/4lqtVQ4 📖 read the article here: bit.ly/411yEyo #HealthcareInnovation #AIinHealthcare #AIinRadiology #FutureOfImaging #AI #PhysicianBurnout #CloudHealthcare #Radiology

When Paige DiScenza was referred to the ER to rule out a possible stroke, she faced two fears: the possible diagnosis — and her claustrophobia. In tears, she called her longtime friend Tammy Karst, System Director of Radiology/Radiation Oncology at Northside Hospital Atlanta. Fortunately, Northside had recently installed the @SiemensHealth MAGNETOM Free.Max 80 cm open bore MRI. See why it made all the difference: bit.ly/3ZiEHOj #Radiology #Imaging #Radiologist #MedicalImaging #PatientCare #MRI

Renal injuries make up just 1–5% of all trauma. Surgery is reserved for life-threatening hemorrhage or major vascular injury. For most stable patients—especially AAST grade III–V injuries—renal artery embolization (RAE) is the standard. Selective embolization controls bleeding while preserving renal function. Stop the bleed. Save the kidney 👉 bit.ly/4riZjBK #NationalKidneyMonth #Radiology #MedicalImaging #KidneyMonth #Imaging

PSMA PET isn’t just about finding disease—it’s about understanding it. In this video case series, Louis Mazzarelli, MD explores: • Small-volume & solitary metastases • Biochemical recurrence at low PSA • PSMA PET + prostate MRI integration • Benign mimics & physiologic uptake The takeaway? Context is everything—and one lesion can redefine management. ▶️ Watch the full PSMA PET video case series bit.ly/4ux9kxN

Leveraging Illuccix’s® Established Imaging Performance: An Intraindividual Comparison with Gozellix® PET Learn more 🔗 bit.ly/4sQvRnD This case series highlights the similar biodistribution and SUVmax on Illuccix and Gozellix scans, which both utilize68Ga-PSMA-11 for PET/CT imaging. We demonstrate high image quality and comparable tracer uptake with both Illuccix and Gozellix among a range of tumor scores. #PSMAPET #Radiology #CaseSeries #MolecularImaging #PETCT #RadEd #MedEd

Today we honor the birthday of Raymond V. Damadian, MD, a physician, researcher, and inventor who helped pioneer MRI. His early work showed that magnetic signals could distinguish cancerous tissue from normal tissue, leading to the development of one of medicine’s most important diagnostic tools. #Radiology #MedicalImaging #MRI #RaymondDamadian #TodayInHistory

Up to 20% of renal masses are benign—most commonly AMLs. In Part 2 of our series, we focus on fat-poor AMLs (fpAMLs)—a non-classic subtype that lacks macroscopic fat and can closely mimic RCC on imaging. Without their hallmark feature, diagnosis becomes more nuanced. Understanding these variants is key to accurate characterization and appropriate management 👉 bit.ly/4aO38d8 #NationalKidneyMonth #Radiology #MedicalImaging #KidneyMonth #Imaging

Recorded live from our booth at RSNA 2025, @suzie_bash MD reflected on the meeting’s theme, Imaging the Individual. “What I’m really seeing is much more personalized, patient-centric imaging initiatives,” she said, adding that this focus was evident across the exhibit floor. The takeaway was clear: AI is helping radiology extend its influence, earlier in disease, deeper into communities, and across the entire imaging enterprise. 📑 Read the article here: bit.ly/4rvMZ14 #HealthcareInnovation #AIinHealthcare #AIinRadiology #FutureOfImaging #AI #Radiology #RSNA25

MRI safety standards don’t fall overnight — they drift. In our latest podcast, Kieran Anderson and MRI safety expert William Faulkner break down results from the 2025 Applied Radiology MRI Safety Survey, featuring insights from 300+ imaging professionals. They discuss: • Who is responsible for MRI safety • Gaps in role-specific training • Why technologists often carry the safety burden • The risk of “normalization of deviation” in MRI practices • New challenges like remote MRI scanning 🎙️ Listen here bit.ly/4blhDns 🎥 Or here bit.ly/4bmK4l9 #Radiology #RadEd #RadiologyEducation #MRISafety #MRI #MedicalImaging #MRSOMRMD #MRSO #MRMD #PatientSafety

FREE CME 👉 bit.ly/4ubWmWg Renal angiomyolipomas (AMLs) aren’t as simple as they seem. While most are sporadic, asymptomatic, and found incidentally, AMLs can also be associated with tuberous sclerosis—and rarely, pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). Understanding how pathologic features translate to imaging is key. A structured classification approach helps differentiate AMLs from renal cell carcinoma (RCC), which can appear similar on imaging. #NationalKidneyMonth #Radiology #MedicalImaging #KidneyMonth #Imaging
