Unironically, it’s pretty funny. On one side we have novel readers who do not care and spoil people on purpose or are not careful about spoilers at all
And then on the other, you get impatient anime onlies literally asking to be spoiled… Brother just watch the anime 😭

@_Draitto_ It's a real shame too, I really enjoyed the fangame Deltarune: Soulblazers cause that had sections where you need to move around your minimized window to find your soul and that would be a really cool gaster thing but also impossible on console

@spookydoodyt Like she does have some characterization and if dessknight is true that gives her more retroactive characterization but a lot of this stuff wouldn't be able to be done without outside the game arg-ness

@spookydoodyt tbh I feel like this is people misinterpreting internet buzz words. She's not "haunting the narrative" , outside of like 2 lines she straight up doesn't exist in the narrative and I think that Goner comparison of no one remembering you is much more interesting

I think there hasn't been enough development of her character yet, especially because she's going to be super important to the endgame. If you're doing a "haunt the narrative" character you should probably do it more like Laura Palmer where she's constantly characterized, rather than literally HAUNTING the narrative by only showing up in the background/tidbits. Some people don't even know she exists.
Chapter 5 can fix this for sure but all the best "Dess stuff" I've seen is fandom made, she's barely even a character yet. We need more to make it matter. That being said it doesn't REALLY matter the fandom will praise it regardless. Asriel literally shows up and is characterized minutes before the endgame 😭
