Embrace saying “yes” to as many opportunities as often as you can. You never know where they might take you. Don’t let fear/laziness get in the way! 👊🏻

Sports is fun. Exactly 6 years ago, @ryandirteater rode Brutus for 89.75 points to win the first PBR World Finals held at T-Mobile Arena. Today, Dirteater rode One Hundred Days to help the Nashville Stampede win the inaugural PBR Team Series Championship at T-Mobile Arena.

I’ve heard a lot of female nutrition MLM coaches and predatory alternative quacks say that they’re ‘empowering women’ with their content and products. Let’s get one thing straight: Targeting vulnerable people and spreading misinformation DOES NOT EMPOWER ANYONE.

One big mistake people make when trying to lose weight is: -Not eating enough calories daily (intake way too low) -Working out 6-7 days/week (expenditure much too high) Doing both together drives your metabolism down because you're in a constant state of low energy availabilty

Just because you were able to lose weight successfully does not mean you should be helping others attempt to lose weight.

Tracking calories is a useful tool for weight loss, but some hate it If you don’t track: ✅Focus on high satiety foods (veggies & lean proteins) ✅Limit snacking ✅Exercise (it improves satiety sensitivity) ✅Focus on internal hunger cues ✅Limit added oils/sugar

If a diet ‘worked for you,’ but then you gained the weight back, then IT DIDN’T WORK. Keeping the weight off is the metric that it ‘worked.’ The diet industry depends on the belief that short-term weight loss = ‘success’ and that it’s our fault when we regain the weight

If you're not excited and happy when you see your friends succeed and vice versa you need to take a long look at yourself or the company you keep

I'm all for dietary freedom. Use structure to create freedom. Whether that's structured meal times, calorie goals, eating windows/fasting, carb limits, etc. Find some sort of structure that works for you. Anything is better than a food free-for-all in our food environment.

If you’re sick and tired of losing and regaining the same 10 pounds over and over again maybe it’s time to stop trying to lose weight and instead focus on getting stronger and fitter.

Working out w/ the intent of burning as many calories as possible is like reading books w/ the intent of seeing how many pages you can read The purpose of reading is to educate yourself. Not read more pages The goal of working out is to improve yourself. Not burn more calories

Cardio is overrated for fat loss. Cardio is underrated for health. When you understand the nuance here, you’ll stop doing cardio as a form punishment or “damage control” and start doing it as a way to amplify and improve the quality of your life.
