Externally, it may seem like health depts are focused on equity but internally, BIPOC staff are dealing with racist depts that continue to harm them. We have to heal ourselves and take accountability

@NPHW @UnitedHealthGrp My dissertation found that BIPOC public health professionals across the nation are experiencing burnout and mental health symptoms at extremely high rates. 80% experienced insomnia, 68.5% experienced depression, 81.7% experienced anxiety and 61.3% experienced trauma during COVID
