Year 4 loved their visit to watch Blue Peter being filmed today! What a fantastic experience for our children - they are very proud owners of their Blue Peter badges @cbbc @ArdenPrimary

Year 4 were learning about teeth cleaning today. They chewed plaque revealing tablets which showed the teeth that needed an extra clean, hence the blue smiles. Their teeth eventually went back to being white after some thorough cleaning! @ArdenPrimary

What a brilliant trip to Eyam Year 5 have just had. Really proud of how the children represented Arden! It's been a fun day of learning lots of historical facts about the plague in Eyam. @ArdenPrimary

Year 5 have been making healthy snack bars as part of our D&T project! They worked together so nicely. We tested lots of recipe cominbations and we can't wait to let the parents try these at the upcoming workshop. Well done 5JP! @ArdenPrimary

We had a brilliant day for Egyptian Day! We had some great outfits, some excellent canopic jars being made and some (hopefully dried out) mummified tomatoes! More pics in the tweets below! @ArdenPrimary

This morning, 5JP have been using freeze frames to bring to life the moment Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered. We will be writing explanation texts about this next week. @ArdenPrimary

Year 5 have really enjoyed making collages today, inspired by Sarah Eisenlohr. Their brief was to create collages showing how humans have impacted the world and to had to use craft knives to cut the pictures out carefully. @ArdenPrimary

5JP have been enjoying some outdoor learning opportunities. We've been practising the recovery position during PSHE and learning how to describe characters carefully based on pictures in literacy. @ArdenPrimary
