Welcome to AptosRelease Twitter. Follow us to stay up to date on Aptos network fullnode releases - we’ll keep track and share here so you’ll never miss an update. We hope this account serves as a helpful tool for operators across the Aptos ecosystem. LFM!

In case of emergency upgrades: A standard (--profile release) build will remain available as a fallback if faster build times are needed. We’ll follow up with the exact image tag and detailed instructions before the release goes out. Please post any question if needed.

If you build from source: Please be aware that build time increases from ~10 minutes to ~25 minutes. You will need to update the build command to: cargo build -p aptos-node --profile performance.

📢Update on build mode on all networks: Starting with release v1.43 (next release, see release list: github.com/aptos-labs/apt…), we’re switching the default build profile for Aptos nodes to the performance-optimized build (with LTO and codegen-units=1 enabled).
