A young man sitting on the subway is making small talk with whoever sits next to him, complimenting their clothes, etc. I’ve never seen New Yorkers so taken aback. I can’t look away.

Or is the role of government to maintain a scaffolding that individuals cannot? That's more where I sit. Republicrat, demopublican, whatever.

@e_baumgaertel @NatePyle79 Again, many folks vote strictly environmentally (eg Democrat) because they feel like it's child abuse/murder to expose the unborn to pollutants that we know cause infant mortality, birth defects, and heart/lung disease.

@AquilaPrincess @NatePyle79 I do not identify as Republican. I am a Christian living in the world and not of it. When there are only one of two options, I cannot support policies that promote clear cut sins, like murderer or abusing children.

@e_baumgaertel @NatePyle79 Another consideration, Erin: many Democrat Christians feel like Republicans ignore Jesus' command to care for the sick + feed the poor, but they don't feel it's the government's job to regulate individual sins or "sins." For Republican Christians, that stance is largely flipped.

@NatePyle79 In current America, Democratic is pro things that celebrate sin, so voting Dem cannot be justified. Not voting or voting Rep (or other) could be justified.

OK don't laugh. I spent 3 days watching every frame of the animated classic FernGully: The Last Rainforest. I cross referenced lists, maps and my own approximate area of where the movie took place around Wollumbin (formerly Mt Warning), Australia to figure out a species list.
