The Arkansas State Archives and our branch archives, the Northeast Arkansas Regional Archives and the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives, will be closed Wednesday, January 28th.

The Arkansas State Archives and our branch archives, the Northeast Arkansas Regional Archives and the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives, will be closed Monday, January 26th.

The Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives will be closed today, January 24th.

The Arkansas State Archives and our branch archives, NEARA and SARA, will be closed today to celebrate the Thanksgiving!

In honor of Veteran's Day, the Arkansas State Archives and our branch facilities, the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives and the Northeast Arkansas Regional Archives, will be closed Tuesday, November 11.

The game wasn’t the only highlight of the day. The band, cheerleaders and mascot all performed in front of a packed stadium and 1976 Razorback homecoming court included Casandra Smith, Carla Eason, and Patty Humphrey Reid. Images from the AR Parks and Tourism Collection.

As we wait for tomorrow’s homecoming game, here are images from the 10/30/1976 Razorback homecoming game against the Rice Owls. Head coach Frank Broylesand QB Ron Calcagni (#18) lead the team to a 41-16 victory. These images are from the Arkansas Parks and Tourism Collection.

We have been working with Ancestry.com to make more Arkansas records available and searchable online. The first set of collections, Arkansas Confederate Veteran Records: 1861-1956, are now available to view and search from home via Ancestry.com.

We added the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church Records, 1872-1970, to the Arkansas Digital Archives! The ledgers contain the church constitution, rules of decorum, minutes, and a list of members of the congregation for 1872-1930 and 1948-1970. ar-digital.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/search…
