Thank you to everyone who attended this recent Raise the Bar. Our focus this week has been on getting to know our neighbors in spaces outside of the internet. We'll dive back in next Wednesday with an exercise on roles of social change. More details to come!

We can make change locally. Today, Washington County sells federal beds to ICE that disappears hundreds of our community members. With a 30 day notice, Judge Deakins & Sheriff Cantrell can end this practice. Will you call and email?

STOP THE ARKANSAS PRISON BOOK BAN Starting February 1, 2026, the Arkansas DOC will prohibit all books, magazines, and newspapers from being mailed to incarcerated people. In December 2025, passed the ban, stating that it is an attempt to stem the flow of drugs into system
