The children in 3L had a super time at the stables this afternoon. They were able to groom some of the horses and even got to ride them! 🐴

Reception’s new topic this half term is ‘People Who Help Us’. They had a very exciting day yesterday as they got to visit Mrs Ryder and Mr Gilbert. The children got to learn all about their busy job and what they do around the school! 📚🏫😁 #teachertwitter #EYFS

Congratulations to all of the incredible children who took part in the @MertonSSP Inclusive Cross Country Run on Friday afternoon 🏅

So proud of our girls football team for their amazing performance at today’s tournament! We even received the Refspect award, which is decided by the other schools for the team who have displayed great sportsmanship and fairplay. Thanks to @MertonSSP for a brilliant afternoon!⚽️

Year 3 have had a brilliant time this half term learning all about the artist Vincent Van Gogh. For their homework they were asked to recreate some of his most famous pieces of art. We were blown away by their beautiful work! 🎨👩‍🎨🧑‍🎨🖼

Year 1 children have had a lot of fun this week creating spirals and circles out of different media in the style of Andy Goldsworthy 🎨👩‍🎨🧑‍🎨

Year 2 had a lot of fun last week creating these beautiful headpieces which were inspired by the colours and patterns of Africa and the Maasai Tribe 🐆🐘🦛🦒

Year 5 had a great day yesterday taking part in a virtual author visit from @SophiaThakur #booklovers 📚💡

Our Year 3’s have been loving their new reading texts from our Whole Class Reading sessions! #readingforpleasure

We have had a brilliant first week back at school and we couldn’t be more delighted to see the children playing together again. We are so proud of how the children at Aragon have handled this unprecedented time and look forward to this new academic year #movingforward
