We know Zenos died before & came back. Krile herself said before he‘s an Ascian in anything but name. So it wouldn’t be surprising if he would return again, maybe through the help of Halmarut & Calyx, maybe they healed him or gave him a different body he could jump into?

Yesterday was one of the most devastating days of my life. My adoptive family disowned me when I transitioned twenty years ago. This year, I made a fresh effort to reach out and see if there was room for us to mend these wounds. I got word through a family friend that they have no interest whatsoever in ever speaking again. They feel that I made a decision in transitioning, and that is the end of our relationship. I cannot begin to explain how much it hurts to be adopted by family and then thrown away like a piece of garbage, just because I am trans.

The way the Left has chosen the classic liberal “personal consumption ethics” approach to AI is part of why the response so far is so bad: leftists aren’t using it, and so aren’t realizing it’s quite capable and going to stick around. You don’t have to use it—that’s fine. But if you don’t, you need to find ways to closely and objectively observe its capabilities, so that you know where things are going. Talk to people who use it, read empirical evaluations of what it can accomplish, etc.
