We built something that’s about to change how you train. 🏀 The Hoops College Shot Analyzer is here — and we’re looking for the first ones to put it to the test. Beta testers only. Limited spots. DM us “ANALYZE” to get in. #HoopsCollege #ShotAnalyzer #BetaTest #BasketballTraining

App Store approved 👀 This shot analyzer shows what’s happening in your process — form, timing, release — and tracks hundreds of shots for pattern insights. Early access going out soon — who’s curious?

@CoachSchroeds Parents who say no to their children when they want to participate in programs that don’t benefit their development.

@pr0ia @mar5hallhoops We record everything. We even cut film and spend 5 minutes watching it with them at 7 years old. They love it. And they learn.

@pr0ia @mar5hallhoops Just hoop to start with. Understand how to get open. How to pass and catch. How to play helpside. Basic basics. But as they learn and develop start adding screening actions. We discourage ball screens and handoffs until they understand 1 on 1.

I wish AAU didn’t exist. Prior to 8th grade. It’s so unnecessary. Kids would be more skilled and less hurt when they got to high school. It continues to help ruin basketball.

@pr0ia @mar5hallhoops 3 on 3. Everyone gets more touches. More space. Fewer decisions. But more appropriate for their age and level of development. Forces them to play man to man. I could go on and on. We do it. It works.

Took our kids to watch a college 🏀game on Saturday. Thankfully @Bellarminehoops teaches @BUKnightsMBB real defense. His team took so many charges Saturday. 1 of our 7yr olds decided on his own to give it a try in 3x3 yesterday. 😂😍 #alittlelate #babyballers

The stories I hear from parents, players and relatives about their experiences with basketball bother me. It’s not about playing time or ability. It’s not about the level either. Please don’t call me coach. From what I can tell it’s insulting.

Being a fan and being able to accurately and objectively evaluate a player are different. Too many "fans" who build hype around players who have glaring deficiencies. The problem is that it only hurts the players, but not the people who profit from the hype.
