Draw my pugio on the second man, miss him entirely because it's a short-range weapon and it hits the clay pot. I have to resort to the ballista mounted at the top of the villa loaded with javelins, "For the glory of Rome!" The javelins pierce through two men in the blast, the sound and extra splinters shatter the nearby vases. Fix my pilum and charge the last terrified bandit. He bleeds out waiting on the Praetorian Guard to arrive since pilum wounds are difficult to heal. Just as Julius Caesar intended.
