@MrsBimonte Students are applying their knowledge of gear ratios to make a clean energy mechanism. Calvin and Rhys have designed a wind turbine with a gear ratio of 1:2 which will double the speed from the wind. Awesome real world problem solving guys!

Congratulations to Izzy and Mary for winning the 2021 Dragster Tournament. They had the fastest robot dragster for LMS 8th Grade Robotics classes in 2021. They’re speed was 8.33ft per Second or about 6mph.

The kids say “This is so satisfying!” to use power tools in school.
