The cope and goalpost-moving is fascinating. I say that nowhere in their scripture does it say that angels looked like how they are depicted in Christian art (a human with wings), because they stole it from Pagan deities. (Nike/Victoria) They try desperately to move the goal posts, saying “But there are human-looking angels!” With two wings coming out of their back, just like Nike? Nope. Or they say, “Here's some Byzantine era art showing angels that look like that! See?” Again, not scripture. And it post-dates all the depictions of Pagan deities with that appearance. So again, all that proves is that Roman Christians copied Roman Pagans. (Which is exactly the point I was making)
