Today, we remember the firefighters, police officers, and all first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten. We will never forget.

After years of dedicated service, we bid a proud farewell to Lieutenant Trabbie as he retires from the Arcadia Police Department. Thank you for your unwavering commitment, leadership, and service to our community. Wishing you a well-deserved and fulfilling retirement!

Today, the Arcadia Police Department proudly participated in the 2025 Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. We were honored to receive the torch from the Monrovia Police Department and continue its journey by passing it on to the Temple City Sheriff’s Station.

On 06/04/25, at approximately 1830 hours, while conducting an area check, APD officers were able to locate a stolen vehicle. After a high-risk traffic stop, the driver was arrested for Grand Theft Auto and the vehicle was recovered.

During National Police Week, members of our agency traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend events at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, where law enforcement personnel from across the country gathered to honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty.
