So grateful that the Eucharistic Pilgrimage is giving witness in the City of Saint Paul this morning and that Jesus is finding a welcome in our streets. The procession from the Cathedral to the Capitol was a real blessing. Now off to the Church of the Assumption.

My heart goes out to the Lake Elmo Carmelites as they grieve the passing of Mother Rose of the Sacred Heart. I join them in giving thanks for Mother Rose's example of whole-hearted commitment to Christ and to the ideals of Carmel. May the angels lead her into paradise.

@GovTimWalz Tom Johnson was indeed a giant. His compassionate work on behalf of victims of clergy sexual abuse was inspiring. We are a better Church and a better community because of Tom. May the God whom he served so well now bless him with eternal rest.

Tom was a giant. As a voice for the voiceless, a passionate pursuer of justice, a loving husband, and a wise and good-humored father, he made a generational impact on our state. I'm forever grateful for his friendship, his counsel, and his family’s contributions to Minnesota.
