రూపాయి ఆదాయం అందరికీ పోయింది, పెద్ద సినిమాలకు కూడా ఆదాయం రూపాయి నుంచి అర్ధరూపాయికి పడిపోయింది. ఈరోజు సినిమాలు వందల కోట్లు కలెక్ట్ చేస్తున్నాయని మనం చూస్తున్నాం. కానీ ఆ కలెక్షన్లు నిజంగా ప్రేక్షకుల సంఖ్య పెరగడం వల్ల వచ్చినవి కాదు; టికెట్ రేట్లు, ఇతర ధరలు పెరగడం వల్ల వచ్చినవని మనందరం అర్థం చేసుకోవాలి. అంటే, సగటు ప్రేక్షకుడు థియేటర్కు రావడం తగ్గిపోయింది. వచ్చే కొద్దిమంది ప్రేక్షకుల మీదే అధిక భారం వేసి వసూళ్లు పెంచుకుని, దాన్నే భారీ కలెక్షన్లు అని చెప్పుకోవడం కన్నా పెద్ద తెలివితక్కువతనం ఇంకొకటి ఉండదు.
చిన్న సినిమాల పరిస్థితి ఇంకా దారుణంగా ఉంది; వారి ఆదాయం పావలా స్థాయికి పడిపోయింది. ఇప్పుడు ఆ పావలాలో ఎవరు ఎంత తీసుకోవాలి అని మనం కొట్టుకుంటున్నాం కానీ, అసలు మన రూపాయి ఆదాయం ఎందుకు పోయిందో మాత్రం మర్చిపోతున్నాం.
ఇక్కడ నిర్మాతలు నష్టపోతున్నారు. అదే విధంగా సింగిల్ స్క్రీన్ ఎగ్జిబిటర్లు కూడా నష్టపోతున్నారు, ఇది వాస్తవం. ఇందులో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు.
కానీ ఈ పరిస్థితికి అసలు మూలకారణం ఏమిటి? ఉన్న ఆదాయంలో ఎవరు ఎంత పంచుకోవాలి అని వాదించుకోవడం కంటే, ఈ పరిస్థితి ఎందుకు వచ్చింది అనేది గుర్తించి దాన్ని సరిచేసుకోవడం ముఖ్యమా కాదా?
నా అభిప్రాయం ప్రకారం ప్రధాన కారణాలు ఇవి:
1. హీరోలు సినిమాలు పూర్తి చేయడానికి చాలా ఎక్కువ సమయం తీసుకోవడం. సగటు ప్రేక్షకుడిని థియేటర్కు తీసుకురావడంలో హీరోల పాత్ర చాలా ముఖ్యమని ఎవరు అవునన్నా, కాదన్నా ఇది నిజం. ముఖ్యంగా తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో ప్రేక్షకుడిని థియేటర్కు రప్పించడంలో హీరోల ప్రభావం చాలా ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుంది. అలాంటి ఇండస్ట్రీలో హీరోలు రెండు సంవత్సరాలకు ఒక సినిమా మాత్రమే చేస్తే, ప్రేక్షకుడికి సినిమాలపై ఆసక్తి క్రమంగా తగ్గిపోతుంది. దాని ప్రభావం కేవలం పెద్ద సినిమాలపైనే కాదు, చిన్న సినిమాల మీద కూడా పడుతుంది.
2. సినిమాలను కేవలం 27 రోజుల్లోనే OTTలో విడుదల చేయడం వల్ల ప్రేక్షకులు థియేటర్లకు రావడం తగ్గిపోవడం.
3. ప్రేక్షకులను ఆకట్టుకునే స్థాయి కంటెంట్ లేకపోవడం. “ఇంత ఖర్చు పెట్టి థియేటర్కు వెళ్లాల్సిన అవసరమా?” అనే భావన ప్రేక్షకుల్లో రావడం.
4. మల్టీప్లెక్సుల్లో అధిక క్యాంటీన్ ధరలు.
ఈ నాలుగు కారణాల్లో మూడు కారణాలు మన చేతిలోనే ఉన్నాయి. కంటెంట్ విషయం మాత్రమే పూర్తిగా మన నియంత్రణలో ఉండదు.
ఈ మూడు అంశాలను సరిచేయకుండా, ఎంత శాతం పంచుకోవాలి అని వాదించుకున్నా ఉపయోగం లేదు. రేపు వచ్చే ఆ పావలా ఆదాయంలో ఎవరు ఎంత తీసుకోవాలి అని కొట్టుకోవడం తప్ప, దాంతో ఎవరికీ నిజమైన లాభం ఉండదు.
మూల సమస్యను సరిచేయకుండా, ఇప్పటికే తగ్గిపోయిన ఆదాయం మీదే పోరాడటం వల్ల ఏం లాభం చేకూరుతుంది?

In his first speech as Tamil Nadu chief minister, Vijay said that he grew up in poverty, and that he even knows what hunger is. It's bullshit because he was my classmate in the third standard in Loyola School.
His father was a filmmaker who set up his son for a career in films.
It is possible that like most filmmakers his father may have had periods of financial strife but that's not the same as Tamil-grade poverty. A lot of affluent boys confuse being broke with poverty. Two very different things.

Yantras are specific to Hindu gods. A yantra is made for gods in Hinduism individually and uses our shastras.
Shirdi Sai and Jesus are not part of Sanatana Dharma, so they can’t have yantras.
