Renewables are cheap. So why isn’t your power bill falling?- conversation Transmission lines are expensive but this article does not address the huge cost of battery storage. Be great to see a comparison of ALL costs

Thanks to everyone who came along to the launch of @SuburbZeroACT. A crowd this big on a Friday night shows just how much interest there is! A pilot like this can show the rest of the country, and the world, just what's possible. Head to the link below to get involved. surveymonkey.com/r/SZVolunteer And fill out their survey to help get us closer to a pilot. surveymonkey.com/r/electrifyACT 🎶 MGMT - Electric Feel

@peters_malcolm We have a device in our car that has the green tyre sealer and a little pump to get you out of trouble. No help if you really shred a tyre but should do the job for usual puncture.

Modern cars are ditching the spare tyre which is costing Australians time and money Extremely dangerous for woman if they get a flat driving home from town 100k from home. With amount of cars stolen and touched in country towns they have to be left on side road.

John Kerrin has just died The man who got sacked from being Federal Treasurer for his refusal to bullshit. When a journo asked when the recession would end, he said "Your guess is as good as mine" The echo chamber of Insiders did not approve and Treasurer Kerrin was no more …

@peters_malcolm Consultation is a vital part of recognition. The argument that it shouldn't be supported because it might not be perfect is a classic argument used by those who oppose change but don't want to be upfront on why. e.g en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nirvana_f… Parliament has power to improve it.

The voice has 2 important parts. Recognition I think all agree on. Consultation- undecided people want to know how this consultation will be more effective than extensive existing. Those who understand machinery of Government query how this will work better. Not symbolic

@peters_malcolm If it is a constitutional change, what is the wording of the new constitutional clause? Or do we have to have another referendum on that?
