After 5 years on the committee for @RTPISCYPN (3 of those as Chair), on Friday I said a fond farewell at Planning Sans Frontieres - a great event to go out on! I’m really proud we were able to revive this event after 3 years and all the events we have put on over the years! 😁🎉

So the news is finally out & @portsmouthtoday is one of the first 14 councils testing the National Model Design Code. Preparing the bid for this was one of my first tasks since joining & it’s exciting to be apart of! 1/2 gov.uk/government/new… #designcode

@Urban__Designer @RichardBlyth7 Completely agree & we have to split the £50k between our two sites in Portsmouth. One site is testing less outputs though but still like you say a drop in the ocean. Good to have the support, advice & training from MHCLG along the way though.

@RichardBlyth7 @ArcherPlanning You have to have the resource & ideally a level of expertise to fill them in often. Not to be Nigel again but £50k os a drop in the ocean with these sorts of things. I hope they do work though!
