Now that Openjng Day is here and Marcelo Mayer is in fact *not* the starting 2B for the Red Sox, I find these comments from Cora extremely problematic. At best they were careless, at worst they were intentionally deceitful. For any manager, this behavior is a huge problem.

This is really troubling. The statement from the parents is bizarre. Seems like a pretty black and white issue. Either they knowingly misused Alec’s money or they didn’t. Hard to imagine he’s making this up.

Here’s why I don’t buy the rumors of Tommy Lloyd leaving. There are three outcomes to this season: 1) Loses in the Sweet 16. If that happens, he’s 0-4 in Sweet 16 games (1-3 ATS). Didn’t UNC just fire Hubert for being good not great? 2) Makes the Final Four and beyond. I have a hard time seeing Tommy leave if he just made the Final Four, particularly with the class coming in. Shows you’re capable of being best in the country. 3) Loses in Elite 8. The trickiest one by far because he’ll have gotten further than he ever has but it’ll also mean he lost in the Elite 8 as a favorite again If I had to guess, Otzelberger is going to the hottest name for both UNC and Kansas

Think this game is pretty easy to sum up. If Arizona dominates the glass, takes care of the ball, and limits threes, it will win going away. If it fails to do one of those things, it will be closer then expected but can still win. It it fails to do three, it loses.

Question for dog owners: if I’m walking my dog and a dog I do not recognize, that’s off-leash, with no owner around charges at my dog and I, what are the rules of engagement/proper protocol?
