@timbo228 Best way to get refs for micro details is to use a phone camera with zoom in to get close-up images of everyday objects.

@ArchieWilliamMH I absolutely agree, it just my thing is how do I draw the details lol. Sometimes Google has no idea what I'm looking for but I'll still try

So... It's no secret that one of my biggest peeves with tinies on norms size content is how flat or low detail average sized things (like fabric) can appear at times. I'll need to make some textures for 1mm scale POV shots. 15 minutes into this sketch so far and my hand is tired.

Most people don't know that I draw on my phone most of the time.

@ArchieWilliamMH Fabric especially is great because treads and strands and fiber can be fractal in how they can repeat and reiterate. A landscape of cables. Each cable a mass of twisted bundles of strands of fiber. Those strands themselves a cacophonous lattice of fibers.

@ArchieWilliamMH Omg yes dude! Microscopic details make micro and nano ladies look SO MUCH SMALLER. I LOVE when the details become a landscape. When wrinkles become terrain. When unnoticeable imperfections become landmarks!

@Sheddnin Yep. I wanted to fully draw out the details of the denim jeans, but my poor hands can't handle it. The pain is too great.

@ArchieWilliamMH Great job! I've tried to do the waistband angle so many times but it's so trick to get the gap between waist band and skin and thickness of the cloth right. Even harder when you get greedy and try to get a glimpse of the pubic hair bent over from the panties underneath
