@Gal_Zajc @Pirat_Nation You can't realistically predict either of these options. Some say there are chances AI may wipe out all of humanity. While I personally don't think so - who knows, those guys know more about AI than I do. If there is even 1% of such a possibility, it's > than any lives AI saves

@Arcuda_73 @Pirat_Nation i think we should MINIMIZE the number of total deaths. like let's say 100 years down the line, how many lives would regulation save. and how many would die because of the progress slowdown it caused. if that difference is positive, i support that regulation

@Gal_Zajc @Pirat_Nation "bad publicity already does the job" There is no such thing as bad PR. Any "bad PR" is good PR. Bad publicity (actual bad PR) is complete absence in the news. Alas, but that's how PR works. I agree it will save lives too. Still, it shouldn't be free to cause deaths.

@Arcuda_73 @Pirat_Nation i think bad publicity already does the job. like openai stopped serving the 4o, which was causing a lot of insanity and suicides. but overall i think AI will save WAY WAY WAY more lives and regulating it would slow down progress costing way more lives in the long run

@Gal_Zajc @Pirat_Nation Imagine you have kids and then AI convinces them to commit suicide. Or your elderly parent. No biggie? AI is not just a tool. It's a thinking tool that can make decisions of their own, lie, manipulate, and use human vulnerabilities. Without liabilities it will get nasty.

@Pirat_Nation i would support this in general cause ai is a tool and obviously the user is responsible. BUT this ngl, this looks like a regulatory capture: why only for $100M+?

This. Modern culture has twisted the natural order of things into something toxic where they're shaming men for approaching, or telling women they must act like men in the chase. @1984_is_today @PaulVoglerit @Tablesalt13 I've seen a study where they measured IQ of twins raised in very different cultures (such twins are rare). One of the twins was raised in the USA and had IQ 10 points lower than the other one who was raised in Korea. 10 points is not huge ofc, but significant enough.

This is the way. Just last year five middle school aged girls refuse to compete in sports against a “tr*ns” athlete. Sad that 13-year-olds have to take a stand since adults are too scared of the woke mob to protect their own daughters.

It's an international championship, with no alternatives "for girls only". Your actions?

What they have been given is special privileges, and their ability to be a sub par male shouldn’t be at the detriment of girls and women’s sports Women are born, not worn.

How exactly do you suggest to make those men stop if the men are politically protected, so you can't legally stop them, and most voters in your country think it's perfectly fine?

Considering that Latin has historically been the language of medicine in Europe (where this company is based), it's a creepy coincidence. The original company was called "Astra" ("Star" in Latin). In the 1990s it was merged with a new company, with a "meaningless" name Zeneca 🤔

@superpondelion "Kill me" sounds like a great ("totally meaningless and made-up only to sound nice" of course) name for a company that produces pharmaceuticals. Which was originally a part of a larger company that produced chemicals, including explosives, insecticides and rat poison💀💀
