A resilient response requires policies grounded in inclusion. Kenya cannot meet its HIV/AIDS goals without addressing the persistent barriers faced by intersex, trans, and gender-nonconforming people in accessing services. #WorldsAIDSDay2025 #HIVAwareness

Every intersex story matters. Being intersex can feel deeply personal, and breaking the silence isn’t easy—but in community, many of us find pride and purpose. This #IntersexAwarenessWeek we asked why intersex people speak out, and you answered!

Iconic transgender activist Miss Major Griffin-Gracy - who dedicated her life to fiercely protecting, loving, and mentoring trans people of color, those with HIV/AIDS, and her incarcerated ‘gurls’  - became an ancestor yesterday. We shall carry her torch onward. Thank you, mama.

We are heartbroken by the passing of Jholerina ‘Madam J’ Timbo, a powerful Namibian activist, movement builder, and the founding director of Wings to Transcend Namibia, one of Pan Africa ILGA’s member organisations. Jholerina was a trailblazer in the fight for the rights and dignity of trans people in Namibia, and her leadership, courage, and unwavering belief in a more just world have left an indelible mark on the trans movement. She stood tall in spaces that were never made for her, and she made space for others. We honour her life, her labour, and her love. Rest in power, Jholerina. 🕊️
