@LSMakeUp @TexasTribune Many intersex people reflect the diversity of sex traits, and how limited middle-school-biology education is! CAIS is definitely one example of how "XY is for boys and XX is for girls" is an unscientifically simplified statement.

The US House has passed HR 3492, the most extreme gender-affirming care ban Congress has considered yet. The bill's exemption for nonconsensual surgeries on intersex children is the first that also admits they are a form of genital mutilation.
