@leerobi08433142 @eldarielentari But the Mordor games were famously awful with the lore. They turned Shelob into a woman, Celebrimbor as a wraith is laughable, Helm as a Nazgul, etc.
Murdering 2000 Orcs Simulator Using the Powers of the Enemy is about as far from the themes of Tolkien as possible

@ArdaCraft_ @eldarielentari I dont deny there have been good interpretations, but we've waited so long for a proper open world middle earth game I would prefer it if they play it safe and stick closer to whats been established like the mordor games did

Do y’all want fresh takes on architecture, geography, armour, etc., design for the LOTR open world game? Do you think they’ll pull from how we already know Middle Earth to look from the trilogy/trop or go entirely off of other references to create their own version?

@leerobi08433142 @eldarielentari The fact that awful visual interpretations exist doesn't mean that there aren't good ones. And the PJ films made a variety of visual blunders too.
See: the Dunlendings (warriors vs. PJ's inexplicably filthy dudes in rags), or the Pelennor (farmlands vs. PJ's barren wasteland)

Embracer groups quarter report stream from 4 hours ago stating: KC3 is a game, is in “Full Development” and the Middle Earth game is in pre-production, and that they hope to have KC3 in players hands in the next year.
