Today is Ardoch's last day for 2020! The team look forward to returning on Wednesday 6th January 2021. Thank you to each and every one of you who continued to support our vital work this year - we could not do what we do without you. Wishing you a wonderful Festive Season!

Today we hosted many of our supporters for our 2020 Friends of Ardoch Event. We had the privilege of hearing from the Grattan Institute’s, Julie Sonnemann and our CEO, Kylee Bates, who shared the amazing achievements of the Ardoch team during one of our most challenging years.

Today is International Volunteer Day! Ardoch thanks our amazing #volunteers who overcame many challenges this year to support thousands of children facing disadvantage. We could not achieve this impact without the commitment of these incredible Australians 💙 #IVD2020

Today Ardoch is delivering our first Robotics Masterclass for teachers. This opportunity engages teachers to share experiences working with our Robotics Tech Box program. Thank you to our speaker from, @CumminsSP, who will be sharing insights about why STEM education is crucial.

Today is World Children's Day! @UNICEF has invited children to reimagine a better world by drawing, building or designing their version of a better world! Here is one of our favourites from a student in Ardoch's Literacy Buddies program. What a wonderful message for all of us!

You might remember that we recently piloted a new drone program with one of our partner primary schools? Well, it was a fantastic success and we received this amazing feedback from the teacher! What a great result :)

Last week the Ardoch team were excited to see our Literacy Buddies again during the end of year virtual visit. It has been a fantastic opportunity to help our Little Buddies with their literacy development, especially after such a difficult year for students around the country.

This week is NAIDOC Week which celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Ardoch is proud to partner with Didgeridoo Australia to provide children with connection to the indigenous community and their culture.

Today over 1000 students from Ardoch partner schools had the opportunity to hear astronaut Colonel Chris Hadfield share his amazing experiences in space. Thanks to the generosity of @AMP_AU for coordinating this incredible STEM program.
